REQUIREMENTS

To live a nice Vespa Soul Experience you need to have: Previous experience driving a scooter/motorbike; Valid passport or identity card; Credit card or cash to pay the security deposit Valid driving license in Spain. For example, US or Canadian driver licenses should only be translated by an official translator (in Barcelona: your Consul)

Fuel policy

Yes, Full/Full policy is applied. However if you run out of gas during your tour, please use unleaded petrol 95.

cover Insurance

The insurance covers damages against third parties, driver and passenger health assistance.

Cancellation policy

Yes, cancellations are possible up to 48 hours prior to the agreed date you will be refunded the amount of the booking less 10% for administrative expenses. For any cancellation made in the 48 hours before the agreed date or without notice, there will be no refund.

Valid licenses

According to the Spanish law the following driving licenses are valid to drive: Vespa 50cc. European Driving License: AM, A, A1, A2, B. International Driving Permit: A, B. Driver licenses from other countries if they are written in Spanish or are provided with by an official translation. Vespa 125cc. European Driving License: A, A1, A2 or B with 3 years old. International Driving Permit: A Vespa 300cc. european Driving License: A2, A. International Driving Permit: A

deposit

Yes, when you arrive at Vespa Soul, you will be asked to leave a security deposit 300€ (600€ for 400cc). The same is payable by credit card, debit card or cash. The full amount of this deposit will be refunded if you return the scooter and the accessories in the same original conditions.

driving experience

For safety reasons, Vespa Soul cannot rent a scooter to people who don’t have enough driving experience with a two wheeled vehicle (scooter/motorbike). If you book a vespa and you don’t have a driving licence or don’t have the experience to drive a scooter, you cannot be refunded.

Where to park

You can only park in specific areas marked with white lines. Outside of these areas, you can follow what locals do in the city as long as you do it with a common sense. In that case, you’ll have a lot more possibilities to park!

Yes, any type of vespa we have, can welcome up to two people.

where drive

You can go wherever you like in Barcelona, as long as you respect Spanish laws. Please note that 50cc scooters are not allowed on the highway (Ronda), motorway (Autopista) and on bus lanes. Distance Limit to ride outside Barcelona: 50cc 25KM 125cc 60KM 300cc 150KM In Mallorca, you can drive all over the island.
